I have a field, 'is user ugly' in a PAB that we want to remove. We just added it as an example for a user.

I've run the applet and deleted the field. It no longer shows up when I run the applet, but still shows up in my address book contacts.

Unfortunately, the example solution does not work as designed because of the GroupWise API limitation. The applet appear to delete the user defined fields (using Object API) but the fields returned after restarting the GroupWise client. We have reported this behaviour to Novell some time ago but haven't heard any response yet. This issue also has been reported in "novell.devsup.gwobjapi" newsgroups by other users.
